Dr Moses Iyengunmwena is a Chartered (CEng) Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the Onshore, Offshore, Energy, Marine, Telecommunication, and Renewable energy industries. Prior to this position, he held several executive and technical leadership and management positions in other organizations. During  his professional career, Dr Iyengunmwena has directed, managed, and delivered several engineering, design, research, and structural integrity high value projects for IOCs like ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, Addax, and other independent energy, construction, and infrastructure companies.

Dr Iyengunmwena holds Doctor of Philosophy Degree from Leeds University (UK) and MSc with Distinction in Civil Engineering Structures from City, University of London. He has certificate in Numerical Methods in Geotechnical Engineering from Imperial College, London. He is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) on the structural integrity management of existing structures and delivers training on the use of some standard and specialist industry software. His knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise encompass the engineering, design, and application of different materials including concrete, steel, and fibre composites.

He has undertaken leadership, management, and strategy programs at Alliance Manchester Business School and Bayes Business School, London (in partnership with Oxford University and Bocconi University), and certificate program in Principles of Sustainable Finance from Erasmus University, Rotterdam. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE), United Kingdom.

He is a mentor for the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation programme, founded by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

He is a councillor in Wokingham Borough in South East England.
