STRUCTURAL
We undertake engineering, analysis, design and assessment of steel and concrete buildings, jetties, onshore plants (refineries and petrochemical), marine, and offshore structures. We use standard hand calculations, specialist software (SACS and SESAM for offshore and marine structures), STAAD Pro for Steel and Concrete structures, OpenTower Design software for towers/masts, and advanced numerical techniques such as the Finite Element Method (FEM). Our customers benefit from over thirty years of experience using ABAQUS & LUSAS Finite element programs for solving real-life structural problems in steel, concrete, and fibre-reinforced plastics, including design optimisation.
MECHANICAL
Analysis and design of mechanical systems and components including BIM deployment. We
undertake linear and non-linear Finite Element Analyses (FEA) for static, thermal, and dynamic loads
for the manufacturing, oil and gas, and wind turbine energy generators.
Analyses can include advanced simulation of geometric and material non-linearity. Modelling of boundary non-linearity allows more realistic predictions of both the forces on the individual components and the response of complete systems, with particular competence and expertise in the use of ABAQUS FEA program.
Marine
Engineering, analysis, design and assessment of steel and concrete jetties, wharves, and other nearshore/coastal structures. Company undertakes non-destructive testing (NDT) of existing concrete structures and development of strengthening, modification and repair techniques, as may be required. The Leadership team have previously undertaken similar projects for ExxonMobil and other independent oil and gas operators.
Asset Integrity Management
Asset Integrity Management, with specialty in structural integrity management (SIM) of existing steel and concrete structures, including offshore platform structures, telecommunication towers/masts, jetties. Our approach includes deployment of technologies such as remote online monitoring and digital twins.
We follow the recommended approach for the Development and Implementation of complete asset life cycle management (Plan, Do, Check, Act) in accordance with ISO 55000 – 55002, with core competence in SIM (Data, Evaluation, Strategy, Program).
Our team members have undertaken projects for companies like ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Shell.
Geotechnical Engineering
We undertake:

We employ the traditional linear elastic method, Soil-Structure Interaction and Finite Element Analysis, for the geotechnical analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations.
